Today's image is Acadia by beforethecoffee. For some reason the blog posting option wasn't working.
I finished Easier Than You Think by Richard Carlson yesterday. I felt it was extremely redundant and definitely a re-hash of many of the positive thinking books I've read recently. However, he recommends reading 10 pages a day for a year. For pleasure. What fun! Hiren and I are both going to do it. These are my self-imposed rules; feel free to make up your own.
- It must be a book, not a magazine.
- It can’t be mostly photos (like a coffee table book with more pictures than words). Occasional illustrations are fine.
- Audio books don’t count except under extraordinary circumstances. I can’t imagine any such circumstances right now, but I guess there might come a day when I decide to drive cross country by myself and can’t read before bed because I’m too tired. Yeah, that would pretty much be the only reason.
- I can “bank” pages. So, for example, if I’m sick and unable to read or if extenuating circumstances happen I can read 20 the next day or count prior reading that’s more than 10 pages.

You've probably heard the expression, "The person you will be in five years will depend on the people with whom you associate and the books you read."
Looks like you're on track to becoming a better person in a year.
